So far, I’ve painted three canvasses and plan to do one more with her monogram and a Lilly print. Other gifts I’m going to get:
- Sorority Tervis Tumbler
- Sorority Sweaty Band headband (these are kind of ugly, though…)
- Lilly picture album (will put pictures of us and our family in it)

Hi! My name is Sydney Palmer and I’m a freshmen majoring in Biobehavioral Health. I live 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia in Richboro Pennsylvania. Softball was a huge part of my life and I played all 4 years of high school and was captain of our varsity team my junior and senior year. I have 3 little brothers and my best friend is my 8-year-old cousin who I adore. Growing up always being around children is what made me realize that that’s what I want to do for the rest of my life. My dream job is to work t Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where I can spend each and everyday working with and helping children. Coming to Penn State was one of the best decisions I have ever made. As soon as I walked on campus I fell in love so joining Greek life was an easy decision. I always loved how involved in the school and philanthropies the sororities were so I knew I wanted to be a part of it. And plus after growing up with 3 brothers I always wanted sisters. I am really looking forward to getting involved in THON this year; especially now that I know exactly what THON is. I think it is an amazing cause and something that I can really learn from. Helping children is my passion so any chance I can get to do so is something I will definitely look to be involved in. Another corny dream of mine is to adopt a Giraffe at the zoo. They are my absolute favorite animal and I guess you could say I’m a little obsessed with Giraffe stuffed animals. I can’t wait to get to know all of my new sisters in Phi Mu and to make friendships that will last a lifetime.
